Commercial Registration (CR) · From SAR 6,000 standalone · bundled with LLC · 3-5 days post-MISA

Commercial Registration
Your right to trade.

The Commercial Registration (CR) is your company's permission to trade in Saudi Arabia, issued by the Ministry of Commerce. Without it, you can't open a bank account, sign contracts, hire staff, or invoice customers. CR is issued AFTER your MISA license. We handle the full chain — MISA → AOA → CR → Chamber → tax IDs — in 10-15 days end-to-end.

FAQ

Common questions.

For foreign-owned companies: no. CR for a foreign founder requires MISA permission first. For Saudi-owned companies (sole proprietor or Saudi-partnered): yes, MISA isn't needed. We always handle the MISA → CR chain together.

One year. Renewable annually for SAR 1,200 govt + our service fee. CR expiry blocks ALL business operations — banking freezes, contracts can't be signed. We monitor expiries and renew 30 days before.

Limited — CRs are tied to entity ownership. Selling/transferring shares triggers CR amendment (not transfer). The CR number stays with the entity. We handle ownership transfers and amendments.

Operations freeze. Bank accounts can't process. ZATCA and GOSI flag non-compliance. Penalties accumulate. We've helped clients recover but it's painful — much cheaper to maintain than recover.

CR = right to trade (MoCI). Tax registration (ZATCA) = obligation to file VAT/Zakat. You need both. They're separate registrations, both done as part of our setup package.
